The big headlines in the Dutch newspapers yesterday, about a corona scandal in Germany, are in stark contrast to today's front page. They have already finished talking about it.

The German affair seemed to be a fuse in the powder keg for a while, but it ends with a fizzle again, apparently it is well wet in the journalistic cover-up. No miss can stop the thundering train. It will be a bit later, that parliamentary inquiry and criminal prosecutions.
But how bad is that, this cooperation between politics and science? I was always in favor of it myself, for example in energy policy. It's different now.
Society is being destroyed. Irrational, without scientific substantiation and even with a lot of scientific resistance. That's not science; It is more reminiscent of the climate tables: the ruthless pushing through of an irrational agenda. Ideology or fear, does it matter much?

As a result of the riot in Germany, Mattias Desmet wonders how far the process is in Belgium and whether science there would also be involved in scaring the population. Apparently he has never sat out Jaap van Dissel for half an hour, then he squeaked differently. An impression of the situation in NL.
In our country, measures have been introduced purely to influence behaviour. Scaremongering. They just said that, also that the measures did not help against the spread of the disease itself. It was to make something clear. That was a psychological experiment and mayors were asked to use it as they saw fit, so that they could see what helped best – you should have Bruls as chairman of the security council. Anyway: that is not science, no protocols, but medical ethics. Doctors have been pilloried for less (even after the war).
The state doctors did not intervene on this compulsive manipulation. They also see something like this as a (welcome) 'necessity' that also makes clear the seriousness of their case and the importance of their functioning. There is also a Red Team of citizens active that was given a good platform because their messages and recommendations are even stronger than what comes out of politics. Nothing else is done with their advice, but the horror scenarios of course come in handy, politicians then compare mildly (and therefore 'reasonably') with that. Scientists with relativistic voices are silenced in various and unsavory ways. They seek refuge in youtube or their own websites, considered 'obscure' by the MSM.
We have also heard medical government advisors in the Dutch media who say that more fear must be aroused to achieve the right behavior. Just in the news, in the newspaper. You can't be surprised about that now, can you? That was just in the media, very transparent. Not a critical note to be found, it was just the way it was.
Media do not reflect and certainly not on themselves
The media were appalled by kongsi politics/science. It is interesting to note that they do not mention for a moment their own role as an inspired communication agency of this kongsi (it is actually 'propaganda machine' but that sounds like WWII). Uncritical, indiscriminate, hyperbolic, anecdotal dramas, biased experts, dissenting dissent, withholding context, character assassination, distorting figures, misinterpretation – no technique has been left unused. They even received extra money from the government because of 'the extra work that corona had demanded from the media'. That was - and is still today - considered completely normal.
The media, just like the ministers and scientists, do not realize how wrong they are. The first intention was 'for their own good', but that has long since become unsustainable. The media are no better than the collaborating politicians and scientists they report on indignantly. Hopefully that has become clear to everyone.
Now the courts, because incomprehensible scenes have also taken place there. How do you bring judges to court?
