1.3 million Dutch people must have died last week. Or fled.
Last week, RIVM estimated 2401 patients with suspicious complaints. According to RIVM, that was 12.3 per 100,000.
(I come to 17,480,000 inhabitants at 13.7 per hundred thousand and not at 12.3 but OK – they estimate maybe 10% less or so, just to be sure 🤔)
Anyway, this week there are 71 less. That should then be 0.4 per 100,000 lower, with the same population of 17.4 million. But according to rivm it is 0.5 higher! Then there is only one possibility: the population has shrunk by about 1.3 million, otherwise you will never get that relative increase.
Terrible disease anyway, that Covid.
And that makes models...
And then the text: "Estimated number of people who contact..." It's really to cry.
We are at the mercy of that. That is what our government advises.
