Something is wrong here. In the Volkskrant yesterday, demonstrators against the corona policy were NOT portrayed as destructive fringe morons. Sincere emotions and justified concerns were also made palpable in NRC. Although in 'opinion pieces', but still.
So far, Wappies (which is starting to feel like a nickname) have been demonized or considered retarded in both newspapers. Now suddenly not, no corrective trend in these pieces. I would almost say: 'The Netherlands is waking up'! 😁
The awareness of disproportionality is bubbling up everywhere. It is inevitable that more decent people will stand up. More and more doctors are also daring to speak out. Scientific papers appear that go directly against WHO advice.
The incongruities can no longer be counted. Or does everyone really think it's normal that the lockdowns and curfews are meant to make contacts and work impossible, but that the propaganda machine is exempted? It is not even malicious intent, but the self-evidence in which such inequalities between citizens are implemented is frightening.
Didn't those talk show guests in WWII sometimes have to tape their windows too?
I hope that the scales fall from the eyes. As long as it continues.

Science: Pathophysiological Basis and Rationale for Early Outpatient Treatment of SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19) Infection - ScienceDirect
About this AJM article
Scientists also argue in The American Journal of Medicine for a practical approach to Covid: Fresh air, Zinc, HCQ, etc. Early (home) treatment prevents hospital admissions and mortality. The evidence for this is overwhelming but does not meet the gold standard as set in tests with limited groups. Even for vaccines, this simply does not work because too few people get sick, and deliberately infecting is unethical.
What I do miss a bit is prevention with, for example, Vitamin D. That is less suitable as a quick use as a medicine and therefore falls outside the scope of this article. So it is good to take that for a long time (already, preferably zinc.)
Some excerpts from the article:
