Guest author Willem Lijfering wrote about the well-known Radboud university medical center:
Off topic.
12 (twelve!!) employees in isolation (quarantine) for 6 weeks because they did not follow the procedure, for a (usually) self-limiting disease.
Regardless of whether or not you believe in viruses: 12 employees treating 1 patient, that is a fact: the Radboud hospital says it itself and they are never wrong. And that's at least 12! Over a period of 2 days. And for what: to take some blood and remove some urine (from 1 patient). For this they need 12 people in Radboud over a period of 2 days! 12 people in contact with something (or someone, depending on how you look at it), if I can believe the news (and which I never do, but that's besides the point), which is very dangerous and very contagious. An ounce less perhaps on hands at the bedside, what does infection prevention say about that?
By the way: Imagine if there were 20 patients with that virus in that hospital at the same time, then that hospital would be shut down. Healthcare can never handle that! Unless we start acting normal again and say that almost all the people on that boat are still alive (3 out of 150 are dead and misery, even the most uncorrected misery, always comes in threes).
Ai (my great friend) says about the ifr of hantavirus:
'The hantavirus has an Infection Fatality Rate (IFR), which can range from less than 1% to as high as 30-50%'
In other words: anything is possible that is not a prediction.
The chance of cloud cover at 12 noon in exactly 1 year is between 0 and 100%. And after rain, I dare say with certainty, comes sunshine. Can I become a weatherman now?
The chance that Cambuur will become Premier League champion next year is not excluded. Can I now join studio sport as an expert?
But if I say: the chance of dying from Hanta virus is between 0 and 50%, then I am a scientist!
So much for Willem. But a scientist must also have very different capabilities to become a successful expert. The video below makes that clear. Must see, I thought, so it had Dutch subtitles.
Thanks for bringing this topic on topic!
Read that the symptoms of Hanta virus also include fear. That is: doctors mistakenly thought that a woman was afraid instead of suffering from hanta disease.

We can be grateful to science for the PCR test that makes short work of the clinical view of doctors!
This patient is also doing well, despite her positive PCR. But, yes, as they say in Radboud: Better safe than sorry! (Appropriate for obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD or OCD)
ai: OCD is a mental disorder characterized by recurring obsessive thoughts (obsessions) and compulsions. These thoughts and actions take up a lot of time, cause anxiety and interfere with daily life.
What they suffer from in Radboud (and in the media)…
So far, I am amazed at how the WHO and virologists are jointly trying to make themselves important again...
The WHO needs fear of pandemics. That's the problem with these kinds of institutions. Perhaps it is not a bad idea at all to have an international body that arranges certain agreements. Useful, for example, if you use the same definitions for diseases and causes of death. Then you can spot trends. But once these kinds of clubs get too big they need a budget, and there has never been an organization like this that has closed itself down or voluntarily shrunk. Presumably the Hanta story was spread around the world by the WHO, the news agencies copied it and local MSM also put it in their newspapers. You can forget about a critical look (as Jan Bonte does).
This goes the same way as the failed monkeypox panic.
My stepfather had a nice saying: 'are you completely fed up with rats?'? Just had to think of that.
Yet it is logical that those wide IFR margins are used.
There are different hantaviruses, all with their own IFR and it also varies per age group.
Still miss MK in Buitenhof from last Sunday 😉
Freely shown:
She had to respond 'reluctantly' because of fuss in alternative media. Downplayed some things: it wasn't covid.
Implicit message: Covid was really bad and she ended up riding her pandemic preparedness showpiece again: the next pandemic is coming, we don't know when, maybe next month, in a year or in 20 years.
There.
Just keep the fear in it. Above all, leave no opportunity unturned to maintain this.
Now also a cruise ship in quarantine because a 90 year old died of the norovirus... see my previous (one predictive) responses.
this makes my heart bleed! Fauci…..an amateur! criminal without parallel, should have been behind bars for a long time!
It's getting stranger and stranger, the hanta story. Not that I believe everything that commenters write about everything, but the copy paste below seems true and is actually correct (checked with AI) with regard to who baptized the Hondius and its ties with pharmaceuticals. Foreign…
There’s a great article here on the whole fiasco:
The Hanta Hype, or: A Tale of Bird-Watchers in Toxic Landfills and How I Learned to Smell a Pharma Rat
https://healthfreedomdefense.org/the-hanta-hype/
It is becoming increasingly evident that the Dutch couple was exposed to highly toxic fumes (copper/mercury poisoning) from the landfill in Ushuaia, Argentina. Scrap collectors burn the plastic insulation off copper cables at this landfill to scavenge the valuable metal beneath.
The Dutch bird watching couple got off the cruise ship to visit a landfill in Ushuaia that is known to attract the White-bellied Seedsnipe and the rare Darwin’s Straited Caracara.
Toxic threats from this site are long known among residents with burning rubbish, particularly cables for copper extraction, producing smoke that “burns the throat.”
The smoke from burning copper cables is particularly dangerous because it often contains hydrogen chloride from PVC insulation, which creates an acid in the lungs that directly causes chemical burns and fluid buildup and nitrogen oxides which are known to cause delayed pulmonary edema that can “drown” a person several hours or even days after they leave the smoke.
Burning and other scavenging activities at the Ushuaia landfill stir up dust and smoke. Local community groups like “Let’s Clean Ushuaia” have highlighted hazardous waste disposal and environmental neglect in the region.
Burning electronic waste is a common practice at this scarcely regulated landfill which releases dangerous toxins, including mercury vapor, lead, and cadmium. Inhaling these vapors can cause “metal-fume fever,” which has similar symptoms to what they are calling “hantavirus.”
A side note: The cruise ship MV Hondius is named after famous Dutch cartographer Jodocus Hondius. The ship was christened for its maiden voyage on June 2, 2019, in Vlissingen, Netherlands by Elizabeth Hondius- no relation to Jodocus.
This ceremony makes her the ship’s “godmother.” Who is Elizabth Hondius? She is legal counsel fo MSD (Merck Sharp & Dohme) and was involved with Gardasil, Merck’s vaccine for preventing cancers caused by the human papillomavirus (HPV). Her association with the company involves management and legal oversight, particularly in the Netherlands and Switzerland.
Thanks for the link. The writer has done what – especially Dutch – journalists should have done (instead of all singing the same song).
If there's one thing we need when dealing with these kinds of things, it's logic (and a healthy dose of suspicion).
