Sometimes I forget what the name of this blog is. After all, the central theme is not about a 'virus': it is more about viral beliefs and system dynamics, with the mass media as the main source of contamination, such as the Legionella-spreading whirlpools at Flora Holland at the time (and yes - bacteria also have the 'viral' contamination property).

Regardless of whether or not you believe in viruses: 12 employees treating 1 patient, that is a fact: the Radboud hospital says it itself and they are never wrong. And that's at least 12! Over a period of 2 days. And for what: to take some blood and remove some urine (from 1 patient). For this they need 12 people in Radboud over a period of 2 days! 12 people in contact with something (or someone, depending on how you look at it), if I can believe the news (and which I never do, but that's besides the point), which is very dangerous and very contagious. An ounce less perhaps on hands at the bedside, what does infection prevention say about that?
By the way: Imagine if there were 20 patients with that virus in that hospital at the same time, then that hospital would be shut down. Healthcare can never handle that! Unless we start acting normal again and say that almost all the people on that boat are still alive (3 out of 150 are dead and misery, even the most uncorrected misery, always comes in threes).

The WHO needs fear of pandemics. That's the problem with these kinds of institutions. Perhaps it is not a bad idea at all to have an international body that arranges certain agreements. Useful, for example, if you use the same definitions for diseases and causes of death. Then you can spot trends. But once these kinds of clubs get too big they need a budget, and there has never been an organization like this that has closed itself down or voluntarily shrunk. Presumably the Hanta story was spread around the world by the WHO, the news agencies copied it and local MSM also put it in their newspapers. You can forget about a critical look (as Jan Bonte does).
This goes the same way as the failed monkeypox panic.

There are different hantaviruses, all with their own IFR and it also varies per age group.
