The key to a healthy democracy lies in the media. Our country is not doing well because we have substandard mainstream media. The reporting is one-sided, too uncritical and, apart from a few excuse querulants on the opinion pages, united on the hand of the government. Criticism is undesirable, not done, morally inferior and is therefore fought with fire and sword, ridiculed by NPO corifeeen (This was the news, Lubach, Pannekoek) and where possible liquidated. No wonder alternative channels fill the gaps here.
Hope
It is encouraging that judges abroad are keeping their backs straight. Do the judges in the Netherlands sometimes also crawl out from under the pressure of the ministries? Are they perhaps awakening themselves, does it indicate something about a tilt in society? Worldwide?
- No trial, but disciplinary law: Rob Elens has been acquitted of prescribing HCQ and ivermectin. Reprimanded for overly firm statements, but when you are treated so Kafkaesque, it is not surprising that you occasionally shoot out of the corner in your defense.
- In the US, the NY Supreme Court earlier this week verdict made about the civil servants who had lost their jobs because they thanked for the mandatory vaccinations. They must be reinstated and paid retroactively over the entire period.
- Just before that, infectiologist Christian Perronne, who was dismissed in 2020 for disinformation, was acquitted of all charges against him. Just to say that we are not talking about the first the best: he was chairman of the Specialized Committee "Communicable Diseases" of the High Council for Public Health. Like Paul Marik (ivermectin advocate in the US), a respected physician was suddenly portrayed as incompetent when he had reservations about government policy. (Always nice to see if his lemma on conspiracywatch still being updated. As yet, not a word about lawsuits. [Edit: see comment from Ward] )
- At the moment there is another court case in Switzerland, about which more in a moment.
- A case against Hugo de Jonge is also being prepared in the Netherlands. I certainly sympathize with that, although I honestly think it has no chance. You don't get a minister, backed up by the OMT at the time. An average judge refuses to sit on a medical chair and will be sensitive to the false excuse that the right knowledge was not yet available – because the OMT. Fortunately, courage is not given up; someday that will turn around, right? Anyway: you can put an aggressive biker behind bars but if you really want to change something then you will have to do something with the whole motorcycle club.
These are all matters that directly affect the regime that has been called over several countries of Europe and that has had a gigantic, disastrous impact. You would say that this is at least balanced in a cool country. But have we seen much – or anything – about these things in our legacy media? Citizens do not read WOB documents, but they do wait for that information to arrive in NRC or at Op1. But that doesn't happen. Have the citizens been informed about how things stand and that there are indications that it was not as legitimate and meaningful as our government made it seem? I bet not. I don't watch and read much mainstream anymore so I might have missed it. (Links to major headlines and news items about this I look forward to in the comments.)
Not so, but like that
Rob Elens was acquitted today 18 November). An indictment had been filed against him by the Health and Youth Care Inspectorate (IGJ). This was headlined in the AD at the time as:
The perspective of this reporting is clear: Elens went too far. He prescribed a forbidden substance. He demanded informed consent. He worked with a malaria drug. This is characteristic suggestive propaganda talk on which the majority of the Dutch base their opinions. And then in the case against Ongehoord Nederland I hear someone mention "journalistic codes" and "loyalty to the journalistic sector" and "quality of information". It's not to be heard. It's not even hypocritical, they just don't see it yet.
I am curious to what extent this essential Elens statement is widely reported in the media. After all, it indicates that the policy was not correct: the threat of fines to GPs, rising to € 150,000, - was not legal. It was also health-technically incorrect.
The day after the verdict, the search for "Rob Elen's disciplinary tribunal" already gives a picture of what we can expect on the media. The mainstream journalists continue to emphasize within the narrative that Rob Elens has been punished, reprimanded, reprimanded. The article in AD only elaborates on the reprimand, with a bit of explanation from the disciplinary board. All other statements that are positive for Elens are presented in the shortest possible description, for example "could not be proven either". That leaves open the possibility a bit that he may actually have done it but that evidence was lacking.
Only on zelfzorgcovid19.nl we find a sound report. Also correct reporting to blckbx.tv, reflections of Maurice but that's all within the parish. The mainstream media is once again showing their nature and lack of quality. Copy/pasting, on the other hand, goes well for them. Safe, they would write something wrong...
In the end, the disciplinary board indicates, Elens was reprimanded because he wanted to assure a patient in the ICU of proper treatment and because he wanted a wide audience to share in the points in which the council has now agreed with him.

A lesson for MSM from Switzerland
Not every journalism is investigative journalism. It can also be better in simple reporting, we see abroad. What's at stake
On July 14, 2022, a lawyer filed a 300-page criminal complaint with the competent cantonal prosecutor's office on behalf of six people allegedly injured by mRNA vaccinations. It is directed against three representatives of the Swiss Medicines and Medical Devices Regulatory Authority (Swissmedic) and five vaccinating doctors from the Inselspital in Bern. A criminal investigation is launched against them. The lawyer has now come out with a media conference.
Who are the plaintiffs
The lawyer of those involved, Philipp Kruse, is an outspoken opponent of vaccinations and Covid measures. He represented people who refused to wear masks or parents who did not want their children to participate in trials. The media conference also featured medical professionals who attracted attention as Corona skeptics.

What does the indictment entail?
Defendants are accused of violating the fundamental duties of care of the Medical Devices Act by allowing and administering the Covid 19 vaccination. There are a number of other charges, including those of intentional or potentially negligent bodily injury, danger to life, manslaughter and abortion.
These are the following articles of the Medicines Act
Art. 3 Duty of care – 1) Everyone handling therapeutic products must take all measures required by the state of scientific and technical knowledge to ensure that human and animal health is not endangered.
Chapter 8: Penal provisions Art. 86233 Offences and offences – (1) Any person who intentionally: (a) manufactures, places on the market, uses, prescribes, imports, exports or markets abroad without the required authorisation or authorisation, in breach of the obligations and conditions attached to an authorisation or authorisation or in breach of the conditions laid down in Articles 3, 7, 21, 22, 26, 29 and 42 intended duties of care; (...).

The alleged harm
According to lawyer Kruse, the damage from hair loss, derailment of the menstrual cycle, polyarthritis, muscle weakness and chronic fatigue ranges, up to the death of a 20-year-old person. Some of the six victims mentioned are still unable to work. The link with the Covid 19 vaccination has been confirmed in five cases. In the case of the deceased, the causal link had to be demonstrated on the basis of pathological examination. However, these investigations have not yet been completed.
Theis: "Maybe more information could have been provided."
SRF science editor Daniel Theis is convinced that one cannot and will not ignore the side effects of the Covid vaccination. There are many reports – not only in Switzerland – of reactions and side effects of the vaccination. Many of those are temporary, such as fever and headache, he said. "These are among the most common, unpleasant, but usually harmless."
Could something have been better? In Switzerland, according to Theis, people were highly motivated to vaccinate – almost forced, depending on their point of view; the social pressure was high. "That also brings with it a certain responsibility – and you can wonder whether the authorities should not have guided people better and better in terms of the side effects – also because we are talking about a new vaccine technology."
Theis points out that vaccination was seen as a way out of the corona crisis. "The data shows that it was." But with the fourth vaccination and the already high immunity, he says we are now in a different phase. "We are learning to live with Corona in the longer term. There is a shift in the willingness to accept side effects or even a risk, even if it is very small." He says that now the question must be asked who regularly needs a booster, what exactly it does, how well it protects against Long Covid and how well it actually protects against infection. "It's an ongoing process and science is constantly learning."
What one of the victims says
The criminal complaint does not contain names for reasons of personal protection. However, SRF was able to talk to one of the victims. Thi Mai-Trang Jost sees himself as a victim of the vaccination; the 45-year-old is now in a wheelchair. She complains that she has to bear heavy consequences of the vaccination: "I used to live, I could walk, I could paint. Today I need help." She can no longer walk or stand properly, has swollen joints and her whole body hurts.
The case manager now works from her home office and receives support from Spitex. She gets a lot of understanding from her employer and support from her family: "But I want my old life back." When asked about the criminal complaint, Jost says her goal is for Swissmedic to take responsibility. She accuses the government of consciously putting people in this situation. Swissmedic has also not provided sufficient information.
What Swissmedic says
Nothing. It does not wish to comment on any ongoing proceedings. The Federal Office for Public Health and the Federal Vaccination Commission also do not wish to comment.
Swissmedic collects side effects
Swissmedic has been collecting suspicions about side effects of the Covid vaccine since 20 December 2020. The latest report will be published at the end of November.
In the period from January 1, 2021 to August 21, 2022, 45 percent of serious and previously unknown side effects were reported by physicians and 55 percent by patients, of which 38 percent (6006) were classified as serious. In 224 of the severe cases, a death was reported in different time intervals after vaccination. The deceased were on average 78.9 years old.
In the thorough analysis of these cases, on the basis of the available data, there were in any case other, more likely causes that could explain the event, despite a relationship over time. Swissmedic's conclusion: the reports of adverse reactions received and analysed so far do not change the positive benefit/risk profile of the Covid-19 vaccines used in Switzerland.
How to proceed
According to the prosecutors, the cantonal prosecutor's office has already opened proceedings against the as yet unknown vaccinating doctors.
When will our media catch up?
And then we haven't even talked about Gideon van Meijeren or the cancel attack on ON... Legacy media do what they do, also a sector that runs on subsidies.

Furthermore, their work is for the most part paid for by the MEB (Medicines Evaluation Board). MEB is dependent on pharma for their financing. In their annual report: "The aCBG is a rate-funded organisation and is highly dependent on applications from the
pharmaceutical industry."
Meb's 'assessment work' in 2021 amounts to approximately 12 million of the total 20 million. Part of this goes to Lareb. We just hope that there is no dependency, should Lareb ever discover that CBG has been irresponsible.

What I miss in the MSM (still!) is a more honest story about the whole COVID thing, from the sense and nonsense of the virus that escaped from the Wuhan lab, to the manipulations now in Boston and London (leading to a hybrid Wuhan/Omikron variant), to the nonsense of face masks, curfew, lockdown and other measures. Everything is already known at the time of the announcement of these measures (but yes, who is at the wheel at VWS / RIVM etc? War are those for people, to speak to SK?).
