It began in 1990 with U.S. patent 5,580,859: "expression of polypeptide by DNA and RNA sequences." Since then, this (m)RNA discovery has been heavily researched, with the most important intermediate result: a real Nobel Prize. Very pretty! But also a bit silly.
This Nobel Prize fits in the list of 'journalist of the year' prizes for Geertjan Lassche (Covid threat), Maarten Keulemans (Vaccine promotion), the Macchiavelli Prize for Gommers and Koopmans, the KNAW prize for van Dissel, various distasteful honorary doctorates and I will probably forget some other public praises. That takes the shine off. The elitist prize festival can't stop: the mRNA vaccines will and should be a godsend.
Let them give Tijs van den Brink a quick prize because he has already threatened to sit down with Maurice de Hond and Ronald Meester.
Excessive? This has nothing to do with science at all. Whether the motivation is politically, financially or ideologically driven, it is a disgrace anyway. A black milestone in Western scientific thinking.
As can be seen in this photo (from 2022 at a previous award ceremony) the laureates themselves have not been pricked. No plastered upper arms but face masks. Although they indicate that they are not experts in the field of face masks, the choice is understandable. Not so much to maintain the fear of Covid (that's a bonus) but mainly because of some loose ends, which they have appointed themselves. Uncertainties, which she herself haven't been able to cover yet:
"Potential safety concerns likely to be evaluated in future preclinical and clinical trials include local and systemic inflammation, the biodistribution and persistence of expressed immunogenic, stimulation of auto-reactive antibodies, and potential toxic effects of non-native nucleotides and components of the delivery system."
mRNA Nobel Laureate Drew Weissman in Nature, 2018.
Biodistribution and persistence: where exactly does it end up in the body and how long does it stay there? They don't know. Auto-reactive: attacking one's own cells. Also questioning 'potential toxicity': unknown side effects.
"A potential concern could be that some mRNA-based vaccine platforms induce potent type I interferon responses, which are associated not only with inflammation but possibly with autoimmunity."
mRNA Nobel Laureate Drew Weissman in Nature, 2018.
Permanent damage to the immune system is quite conceivable.
"The identification of individuals at increased risk of inflammatory reactions should therefore be carried out. Therefore, the identification of individuals at increased risk of autoimmune reactions before mRNA vaccination may allow precautions to be taken."
mRNA Nobel Laureate Drew Weissman in Nature, 2018.
These mRNA injections are not suitable for everyone. Individual selection is necessary based on sensitivity to autoimmune reactions. (Never noticed anything about such a selection. Is there any test for that at all?)
"Another potential safety issue could arise from the presence of extracellular RNA during mRNA vaccination. Extracellular naked RNA has been shown to increase the permeability of densely packed endothelial cells and may thus contribute to edema."
mRNA Nobel Laureate Drew Weissman in Nature, 2018.
Twitterers with "Doctor" in their Twitter handle screens with "Extracellularly, nothing can happen". This Nobel Prize winner, however, mentions fluid accumulation by extracellular RNA. And that's not all: blood clotting problems and blood clotting are also reasons for strict monitoring – which never took place. Even evaluation is evaded. The House of Representatives gets away with it like a judge declaring a case against itself inadmissible.
"Another study showed that extracellular RNA induces blood clotting and pathological thrombosis formation. Safety should therefore be continuously evaluated when different mRNA modalities and methods of administration are first used in humans and tested in larger patient populations."
mRNA Nobel Laureate Drew Weissman in Nature, 2018.
'... when they are first used in humans' – then, in 2018, so not yet used in humans and doubt about the method of administration. In two years, you really don't map these issues out. So, these two think, I'd rather wear masks.
Parallel to the prize festival is also a patent war. Manufacturers roll down the street to fight over who is entitled to benefit from the billions in profits of the other. It cannot be a coincidence that different pharmaceutical companies came up with the exact same idea with the same delivery method at exactly the same time. So who picked the other person's idea?
Amusing detail is that Pfizer is now arguing in the patent battle with Moderna that Moderna cannot claim the invention. Pfizer has submitted evidence that the first RNA patent on which it has been built was granted to an academic research team as early as 1990.
Read more about it on the substack by Robert Malone, lid van dat allereerste groepje mRNA-pioniers. Zoals hij zelf ook zegt is hij niet ‘de’ uitvinder. Maar wat een held.
Again, the nail on the head, Anton!
It is trivial and almost criminal that the serious and dangerous side effects of mRNA injections have been treated so casually. And the chamber (the cartel; barring people like Omtzigt)? He turns his back on the many victims.
By the way, nothing to the detriment of Kariko and Weissman, who acted in good faith. It is – as unfortunately so often – the indiscretions who rule us (you can fill in the names yourself) who have made a mess of it.
With the following caveat: the photo shown with the laureates dates from 13 April 2022 at the presentation of ? awards/trophies in Tokyo, Japan. (Eugene Hoshiko – pool, ASSOCIATED PRESS)

Aha, thanks for this addition. Even then, they preferred face masks or the protection of a vaccination was not sufficient.
Presumably an obligation at the time 🙂 (at a formal event such as the award ceremony by the Japan Prize Foundation).
That will indeed be the case. And that despite the vaccinations, they were not the only ones with doubts about their effectiveness.

All those side effects are enough to run away from those 'vaccines'. But they are still based on a decent production process.
Unfortunately, it now appears that DNA residues remain during mass production (Mc Kernan/Boecholtz). Buckhaultz). So it's even worse than we thought.
Nothing new for this site. I know it's familiar, but I thought it would be a meaningful addition.
