Heel knap! Maar ook een beetje sneu.
This Nobel Prize fits into the list of 'journalist of the year' prizes for Geertjan Lassche (Covid threat), Maarten Keulemans (Vaccine promotion), the Macchiavelli Prize for Gommers and Koopmans, the KNAW Prize for van Dissel, various distasteful honorary doctorates and I am probably forgetting some other public praise. That takes the shine off. There is no end to the elitist prize festival: the mRNA vaccines will and must be a gift from God.
Let them give Tijs van den Brink a quick prize because he has already threatened to sit down with Maurice de Hond and Ronald Meester.
Excessive? This has nothing to do with science at all. Whether the motivation is politically, financially or ideologically driven, it is a disgrace anyway. A black milestone in Western scientific thinking.

As can be seen in this photo (from 2022 at a previous award ceremony) the laureates themselves have not been pricked. No plastered upper arms but face masks. Although they indicate that they are not experts in the field of face masks, the choice is understandable. Not so much to maintain the fear of Covid (that's a bonus) but mainly because of some loose ends, which they have appointed themselves. Uncertainties, which she herself haven't been able to cover yet:
mRNA Nobel Laureate Drew Weissman in Nature, 2018.
Biodistribution and persistence: where exactly does it end up in the body and how long does it stay there? They don't know. Auto-reactive: attacking one's own cells. Also questionable about 'potential toxicity': unknown side effects.
mRNA Nobel Laureate Drew Weissman in Nature, 2018.
Permanent damage to the immune system is quite conceivable.
mRNA Nobel Laureate Drew Weissman in Nature, 2018.
These mRNA injections are not suitable for everyone. Individual selection is necessary based on susceptibility to autoimmune reactions. (Never noticed anything about such a selection. Is there even a test for that?)
mRNA Nobel Laureate Drew Weissman in Nature, 2018.
mRNA Nobel Laureate Drew Weissman in Nature, 2018.
'...when they are first used in humans' - then, in 2018, so not yet used in humans and doubts about the administration method. You really can't solve these issues in two years. So, these two think, it would be better to wear face masks.
Parallel to the prize festival is also a patent war. Manufacturers roll down the street to fight over who is entitled to benefit from the billions in profits of the other. It cannot be a coincidence that different pharmaceutical companies came up with the exact same idea with the same delivery method at exactly the same time. So who picked the other person's idea?
Amusing detail is that Pfizer is now arguing in the patent battle with Moderna that Moderna cannot claim the invention. Pfizer has submitted evidence that the first RNA patent on which it has been built was granted to an academic research team as early as 1990.
Read more about it on the substack by Robert Malone, member of that very first group of mRNA pioneers. As he himself says, he is not 'the' inventor. But what a hero.

Again, the nail on the head, Anton!
It is trivial and almost criminal that the serious and dangerous side effects of mRNA injections have been treated so casually. And the chamber (the cartel; barring people like Omtzigt)? He turns his back on the many victims.
By the way, nothing to the detriment of Kariko and Weissman, who acted in good faith. It is – as unfortunately so often – the indiscretions who rule us (you can fill in the names yourself) who have made a mess of it.
With the following caveat: the photo shown with the laureates dates from 13 April 2022 at the presentation of ? awards/trophies in Tokyo, Japan. (Eugene Hoshiko – pool, ASSOCIATED PRESS)

Aha, thanks for this addition. Even then, they preferred face masks or the protection of a vaccination was not sufficient.
Presumably an obligation at the time 🙂 (at a formal event such as the award ceremony by the Japan Prize Foundation).
That will indeed be the case. And that despite the vaccinations, they were not the only ones with doubts about their effectiveness.

All those side effects are enough to run away from those 'vaccines'. But they are still based on a decent production process.
Unfortunately, it now appears that DNA residues remain during mass production (Mc Kernan/Boecholtz). Buckhaultz). So it's even worse than we thought.
Nothing new for this site. I know it's familiar, but I thought it would be a meaningful addition.
