The Skepsis association has been playing a dubious role in the corona debate for some time. They are not critical of the establishment. They are unilaterally concerned with debunking the critics - at least a small part of them: those with nonsensical explanations and incorrect theories. Because it is clear that the impotent popular anger produces a lot of nonsense in terms of conspiracies and alternative facts. Not every (amateur) virologist has done his homework equally well.
It would help the discussion if Skepsis would do a more serious investigation into the facts that cause the conflict instead of lustfully putting down the weakest links on the side of the rebels. Seizing everything to prove only the right of the establishment, there is really nothing skeptical about that!
The pseudo-scientists are now mainly at the RIVM - but that is a strange twist for Skepsis and the Association Against Quackery to make so suddenly... Comparable to the paradigm shift that virology is currently experiencing.
