I proposed this type of campaign more than six months ago to various importers of, traders and service providers in indoor climate equipment: the ventilation sector, air washing, cleaning, air conditioning, installation companies - it seemed to me a great opportunity for a gigantic market segment. Not to mention the inspection device that should be installed.
I then called a number of companies, which was May/June last year. Half of them didn't know what it was about. They didn't even know what they actually had in that area and no one else was interested. They didn't even want tools in their webshops to be able to filter for ionization/UV-C/humidification/filtration/aroma etc etc. At most shops you had to plow through the specs for each device to find which technique(s) it worked with.
The entrepreneurs were either in pocket and ashes (cleaning companies) or they were already too busy (air purifiers) and moreover: the only thing that helps is vaccination, vaccination, vaccination... which is a scientific error. Or actually a policy error because scientifically speaking there is much more than that.
The claims are substantiated
Signify from Philips has been making itself heard for some time, although they hardly seem to be gaining a foothold. They make very cautious claims, they could go further based on what is currently known in this area. But distinguish yourself from all those other 'health claims' of magnets and minerals or sensors that neutralize cosmic radiation.
I had expected much more from these kinds of campaigns by now, just like from other virus-removing products and services:

Leeborent, rental company of light/sound/stages, etc., fills the gap in the market. That gap still exists because there is no progressive insight at the RIVM. Leeborent is still quite on time, while in May/June 2020 I already thought it would be mustard after the meal...
The RIVM does not give a damn when it comes to reducing the number of infections. Virus control can be done in 100% safe ways. It can also give the economy a boost. However, RIVM only wants to vaccinate vaccinations: one size-fits-all otherwise it will be too complicated. As if a vaccination campaign has not turned out to be too complicated for them.
The RIVM is also not interested in the prevent of infections. And certainly not if it is based on a trusted doctor-patient relationship. In healthcare, the human dimension is disappearing on the horizon. Effective therapies, which are endorsed by thousands of doctors, are fined.
Science is not a democratic system, but you would almost argue for the introduction of a kind of electoral threshold.
Ivermectin should simply no longer be ignored purely on the basis of the enormous support base of doctors and specialists. Unfortunately, there is a global trend towards centralization, globalization, standardization, cadaver discipline. There are many disillusioned, not to say embittered, general practitioners. In that context, the letter below speaks volumes (shared by Jan Bonte on Twitter).
Hospitality: tackle your business. Inspect for yourself!
I also spoke to catering bosses at the time. They see something in it, but the situation remains that they are not allowed to receive anyone, no matter how virus-free their business is. Much safer than at home. A crooked situation, again thanks to the RIVM because they refuse to do anything with certification, which would allow the economy to open again and everyone can make their indoor space virus-proof for approximately € 20 per square meter. So that is not 'for someone else' or 'together' but mainly for themselves. You can bet that people will proudly show each other how well they have done. There is no interest in that dynamic - because there is no medical intervention.
The government makes people sick
Last week the story of four people, very ill with corona. They had visited each other - one must have been ill, but I couldn't figure out who. They had sat one and a half meters apart all afternoon and evening, sharing each other's breath and washing their hands regularly... Thank you rivm, for your sickening advice. Can you call that criminal to cause harm against your better judgment? And if it's not against your better judgement, aren't you actually too stupid to dance for the devil? I'm just asking; I can remain neat, but crime will still have to be punished. There is also such a thing as civic duty.
So here is the link to the article about (self) protection against infection of viruses, so corona and flu and cold viruses - should the latter ever make a comeback. After all, our immune systems have skipped a season of flu mutations. Hopefully the flu mutations have not gone very fast, otherwise this will also be a celebration next winter.
