Keijzer, Walk & Meester voices against the Coronapas. See what you can do about it!

Something is not quite right with the petition to abolish the corona pass. The petition is a huge success: they have never experienced this before at petities.nl. Everything also comes together: Mona Keijzer is a figurehead, supported in terms of content by the specialists Jona Walk (medical) and Ronald Meester (statistical). And that at a time when everything is shaking and tilting and the narrative around us is about to collapse. A lot of people have worked towards this.

So what is going wrong?

On all social media, images are shared and hyperlinks to newspaper articles, but unfortunately often without link to the petition, of alleen met "petities.nl" erbij. Dat zou nog niet zo'n probleem hoeven te zijn, ware het niet dat er op petities.nl al een other "Schaf de coronapas af" petitie loopt. Al 3 weken en die heeft in totaal ongeveer net zoveel stemmen als "onze" petitie in anderhalve dag: een respectabele 360.000!

Last night I saw that the earlier petition had passed the peak and there was no suddenly got a few hundred more votes yesterday (red arrow). These may have been people who had not found the right link and had signed the wrong petition. Of course, it could also be people who signed both petitions when they saw the other one too.

The server of petities.nl cannot handle the workload so it did not go that fast.

Vandaag ziet het er wat zorgelijker uit. 17.000 stemmen erbij op de andere petitie. Het gevaar bestaat dat toch wel dat "onze" stemmen (ik spreek even vanuit mijn positie eigen) deels bij deze oudere petitie terecht zijn gekomen. Deze petitie vangt nu bijna evenveel stemmen als de "onze"! De maximering zit puur in de servercapaciteit dus het loopt gelijk op.

So that may not go well at all. We cannot assign those votes to another petition afterwards!
