The Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) Act is a United States federal law that provides for comprehensive criminal penalties and a civil action for acts carried out as part of an ongoing criminal organization.

To the great disappointment of many (including myself), the Committee on Oversight and Accountability of the U.S. House of Representatives, Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Pandemic, to focus on the origins of SARS-CoV-2 and the increasingly apparent cover-up of the role of the Wuhan Institute of Virology, which acted in partnership with EcoHealth Alliance to conduct research on the bat coronavirus, as well as EcoHealth Alliance's extensive network of collaborators, collaborators, and accomplices. The good news is that the commission is starting to act like a federal investigator trying to root out a corrupt organization through a RICO-like investigative strategy.
At this point, however, an important question remains: how far do they want to go down the rabbit hole? And will their research continue to focus only on NIH, or will they also look at the role of DoD/DTRA, CIA, USAID and other related federal organizations?
A typical RICO investigative strategy involves a multifaceted approach, combining different techniques to gather evidence and build a strong case against an organization or individual. The most important components of a Rico research strategy are:
- Close cooperation between investigators and prosecutors: RICO investigations require close cooperation between law enforcement agencies and prosecutors to ensure a thorough and effective investigation. This collaboration allows researchers to share information, resources, and expertise, ultimately leading to a stronger case.
- Identifying and collecting evidence: RICO investigators focus on gathering evidence that demonstrates the existence of a criminal enterprise, as well as the involvement of individual members in the organization. This may involve reviewing financial records, phone records, and other documentation, as well as conducting interviews and surveillances.
- Building a strong case: RICO investigations aim to build a strong case by establishing a clear link between the criminal enterprise and the individual members involved. This may mean demonstrating the organization's involvement in illegal activities, such as money laundering, extortion, or fraud.
After the interrogation of Dr. Peter Daszak [3.5 hour yt link] On May 01, 2024, in which he claimed that there is no credible evidence that the emergence of SARS-CoV-2 in the general human population was the result of a laboratory accident, the committee has now released a statement stating that a secret State Department memorandum on situation analysis concludes the exact opposite, and further that the Wuhan Institute of Virology (WIV) was the source of the virus and that the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) is closely was involved in the WIV.

State Department Classified Documents Suggest Credible COVID-19 Lab Leak, Wenstrup Urges Declassification
WASHINGTON – The Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Pandemic recently studied classified documents from the U.S. State Department that credibly suggest that COVID-19 originated from a laboratory accident in Wuhan, China. The documents also clearly show that the Chinese Communist Party tried to cover up the leak in the lab and that the Wuhan Institute of Virology (WIV) maintains a relationship with the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA). Chairman Brad Wenstrup (R-Ohio) requests the State Department to quickly declassify this information [= fully disclose] and share the truth about the origins of COVID-19 with the American people.
These documents were previously released in an unclassified and highly redacted Freedom of Information Act production, first obtained and reported by U.S. Right to Know – a nonprofit working to expose government errors that threaten public health. The edited documents showed numerous, highly evocative subject lines, including:
- "First outbreak could have been contained in China if Beijing had not covered it up."
- "Xi lied to cover up his role in the cover-up".
- "PLA contractor involved in the construction of the Wuhan Institute of Virology"
- "Presence of PLA at WIV continued after completion of construction"
- "Official Chinese websites show strong cooperation between WIV and PLA"
- "Cyber evidence of PLA shadow labs at WIV and Bioengineering University"
With mounting evidence continuing to point to a lab accident in Wuhan as the likely origin of the COVID-19 pandemic, safely removing these redundant edits is a step toward transparency and accountability.
"We are writing to you today to request that you take immediate steps to declassify this information so that the American people can have a more complete picture of the government's evidence regarding the origins of the COVID-19 pandemic," wrote chairman Wenstrup.

Suffice it to say that Dr. Daszak is on his way to becoming the ideal "scapegoat" for a U.S. government that wants to evade joint responsibility for one of the most massively bungled and colossally tragic public health events in modern history. Dazak is not a U.S. citizen, has extremely good connections with all the right people (including leaders of the WEF, the WHO, the Wellcome Trust, and Bill Gates), has an unparalleled sense of entitlement, and is both transparently dishonest and totally unrepentant for the role he and his organization (EcoHealth Alliance) played in the genesis of the COVID crisis.
The committee did its homework before bringing in Dr. Daszak for his chance to clean up his act, which included interviewing UNC coronavirus researcher Dr. Ralph Baric (who helped develop and actively championed the use of Remdesivir for COVID). Unfortunately for Dr. Daszak, Dr. Baric's testimony clearly indicated that the work being conducted at the WIV on coronaviruses from bats was "gain of function" research. This position directly contradicts the affidavits of his former collaborator Dr. Dazak, an important point repeatedly reiterated and reinforced by members of the Committee questioning Daszak, who repeatedly disagreed with Dr. Baric. First question the smaller fish, and then work towards the larger fish. Classic RICO strategy.
Now, the committee is preparing to call on Dr. Anthony Fauci and is trying to question one of its key lieutenants at NIAID, Dr. David Morens, before "interrogating" Dr. Fauci. As a seasoned deep state operator, Dr. Morens knows very well how this game is played, and he has conspired with his lawyers to creatively delay his testimony until after Dr. Fauci has had the chance to play and cheat the committee during his time in the barrel, just as he did Dr. Rand Paul. But unfortunately for Dr. Morens, email correspondence between Dr. Morens and Dr. Dazak came to light in which they conspired to avoid the commission. In a fascinating twist, Dr. Peter Hotez is a copy of this particular correspondence. As is often noted: "it's a BIG club, and you don't belong to it. You and I don't belong to the BIG club". So now the committee is resorting to a subpoena. Keep in mind Dr. Peter Navarro is currently serving a prison sentence for refusing to testify before another congressional committee. I am convinced that this fact has not escaped the attention of Dr. Morens.
What happens next? Who knows. Get out the popcorn. But what surprises me most about all of this is the bipartisan nature of what's going on. When was the last time you saw this? Speaking for myself, I am stunned. And what on earth is going on with Congressman Brad Wenstrup (R-Ohio)? Has anyone increased their testosterone dose? This congressman is acting like someone who should be speaker of the House! I'm just saying. Whatever he drinks, I can name at least a hundred others who should take some of it. And one in particular. Pious and spineless is not a good sight.
So, without further ado, below is the press statement that comes from the office of "Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Pandemic Chairman Brad Wenstrup (R-Ohio)". Very worthwhile to read. I can hardly wait for the next shoe to fall. I'm sure Dr. Fauci is also waiting with bated breath.
WASHINGTON – Today, the Chairman of the Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Pandemic, Brad Wenstrup (R-Ohio), announced a subpoena to force Dr. David Morens – a top adviser to Dr. Anthony Fauci at the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases – to appear for a public hearing on May 22, 2024. Dr. Morens will be asked to address new evidence suggesting that he intentionally obstructed the Select Subcommittee's investigation into the origins of COVID-19 to protect his former boss, Dr. Fauci.

De advocaat gaf vier alternatieve data – waarvan Dr. Morens en zijn team kennelijk allemaal begrepen dat ze onaanvaardbaar waren gezien de openbare agenda van het Congres en de Select Subcommittee.
Het ontwijken van de openbare getuigenis van Dr. Morens “lijkt een slecht verhulde poging te zijn om Dr. Fauci te beschermen, hem te isoleren van de acties die de Select Subcommittee onderzoekt en het onderzoek van de Select Subcommittee te belemmeren,” schreef voorzitter Wenstrup in een begeleidende dagvaardingsbrief aan Dr. Morens.
Dit is de tweede dagvaarding die de Select Subcommittee heeft aangekondigd voor Dr. David Morens. De eerste dagvaarding dwong Dr. Morens om documenten van zijn persoonlijke e-mailaccount(s) met betrekking tot de oorsprong van COVID-19 te overleggen na herhaalde beschuldigingen dat hij de federale wetten op het bijhouden van gegevens had overtreden.

Tijdlijn
- In June 2023, the Select Subcommittee released a batch of emails in which Dr. Morens appears to be hiding information about COVID-19. Dr. Morens wrote, "I always try to communicate via gmail because my NIH email is constantly monitored by FOIAs" and "I delete anything I don't want to see in the New York Times.
- After receiving a letter from the Select Subcommittee detailing Dr. Morens' possible violation of federal documents, the NIH placed him on administrative leave.
- In oktober 2023 kondigde voorzitter Wenstrup een dagvaarding aan voor NIH-documenten met betrekking tot de mogelijke schending van de federale archieven door Dr. Morens. NIH voerde een intern onderzoek uit naar de verdachte acties van Dr. Morens, maar weigerde relevante bevindingen met het Amerikaanse volk of het Congres te delen.
- In november 2023 verscheen de voorzitter van de EcoHealth Alliance, Dr. Peter Daszak, voor een getranscribeerd interview – waarin hij Dr. Morens een “mentor” noemde.
- In december 2023 zou Dr. Morens verschijnen voor een uitgeschreven interview. Het Department of Health and Human Services stak hier een stokje voor door ze Dr. Morens te verbieden om vragen te beantwoorden over de oorsprong van COVID-19.
- In januari 2024 verscheen Dr. Morens voor een uitgeschreven interview – waarna voorzitter Wenstrup beloofde toegang te krijgen tot het persoonlijke e-mailaccount van Dr. Morens. De belangrijkste punten uit het uitgeschreven interview vindt u hier.
- In april 2024 onthulde de Select Subcommittee nieuwe informatie van een klokkenluider die nog meer bewijs leek te leveren dat Dr. Morens opzettelijk de federale transparantiewetten ondermijnde om discussies over de oorsprong van COVID-19 af te schermen. De volgende dag gaf de voorzitter van de EcoHealth Alliance, Dr. Peter Daszak, vier documenten vrij die de beweringen van de klokkenluider bevestigden.
- Ook in april 2024 kondigde voorzitter Wenstrup de eerste dagvaarding aan Dr. Morens aan, die hem dwong om documenten van zijn persoonlijke e-mailaccount(s) met betrekking tot de oorsprong van COVID-19 te overleggen.
