Thanks for the summary, it is much appreciated. Apart from the leak. Why isn't anyone pointing fingers at each other to identify the guilty party? Suddenly they're all a united front? Putin doesn't appoint anyone. China will accept a US lab on their territory? How is it possible that no one thinks anyone else is responsible? W3F???

I think it's too intertwined at the top level ("corrupt" has such a bribery connotation). Trump did talk about the Chinese virus at the time, but when it became clear that Fauci, possibly with the knowledge of Defense, was an important financier, things changed. The Americans had things investigated in China that were not allowed in their own area. The Chinese army was able to watch. Seems like a workable deal to me where both parties think “as soon as I know what I want to know, I just close the door for the other person, he can't make a fuss anyway”.
Putin might want to keep the Chinese friendly? I don't know, it's all speculation.

Kees van der Pijl talked about the military games, which were held in Wuhan in October 2019, in his book “Pandemic of Fear”.

The Americans performed poorly because many of their team members became ill. Just like many of their hotel staff. I think the first reported cases were from November.

There were many soldiers from all over the world in Wuhan in October 2019. They could also have taken it with them. From another lab.
